WLAF - World League of American Football (1991-1992 - became the World League/NFL Europe for 1995)  THESE ARE THE HELMETS WORN FOR 1992

ROLLOVER IMAGES TO SEE LARGER LOGOS!

The spring of 1991 brought a new league to the world, the World League of American Football. The WLAF was an NFL backed venture that was created to be a "developmental" league for the NFL as well as help spread football throughout the world. Unfortunately, the league lasted only 2 years. It would resurface again in 1995 without any teams in North America as the World League. The World league would change it's name to NFL Europe in 1998.

Please contact me if you have any additional info regarding this league and you will be credited with your info!
