Clemson has always worn orange helmets through out their existence with a brief period of wearing navy. That's right, navy. Even though Clemson's other color is and has been Northwestern Purple for decades. I am not totally sold on the fact that their 1939 helmets were navy. Though by the few color photos, it could be possible!
